director / playwright / performer
I do not just tell a story in theatre.
“What is the use of telling a story since there are so many and everybody knows so many and tells so many,” Gertrude Stein states. It is in fact the current political and aesthetic state that urges me to make theatre. My theatre is an imaginary, transcendental form beyond the literary language to challenge, aesthetically, the conventions of theatre, and politically, the power structure in our hierarchical society.
